Sweetcorn 'Earlibird' - 9cm

Sweetcorn ‘Earlibird’ is an early season Super Sweet variety. This variety grows well in the UK climate and produces high quality cobs 20cm long, with 16 rows of small sweet grains. The cobs are harvested early in August.  

Combine with Sweetcorn ‘Valencia’ for a long season of cobs.  Sweetcorn can be underplanted with courgettes.

Sweetcorn needs warm, moist and well-drained soil to do best.

SowingSow in pots indoors from April and plant out late May or sow mid-May directly in the soil, warming up the soil first with a cloche or plastic covering.
