Latin Name: Pieris japonica.
Soil type: Prefers moist but well drained soil ericaceous (acidic) soil.
Feeding instructions: Ericaceous compost and general purpose fertiliser.
Planting instructions: Plant for sun and shade.
Plant from September to June.
Flowering time: February to March.
Eventual height and spread: Grows up to 1m tall and 1m across.
Habit: Evergreen - retains leaves in Autumn and Winter.
Features: Has attractive spring blossom. A good choice for shady gardens.
