Scindapsus (Devil's Ivy)
£20.00Price
Scindapsus is a climbing plant. A very hardy plant, it can often thrive with little or no care, making it a popular houseplant and common in retail stores and malls as well. It can be trained or grown in a hanging basket. The plant has green, oval, leathery leaves about 2 – 4 inches long, often brushed with yellow or white, along flexible vine-like stems. Under ideal growing conditions the leaves may become much larger. Mature plants will produce small yellow or purple flowers, although Scindapsus grown indoors will rarely flower. Indoors, plant in well-drained, loamy soil and train along windowsills or trellises, or plant in hanging basket for a cascading effect. Overwatering will cause leaves to turn yellow and should be avoided. The plant can be harmful if ingested and should be kept out of reach of children and pets.
